Going from 16" aluminum rims to 18" chrome rims. I know they will probably be heavier but despite the weight will the size matter?

How much? :shrug: Also, if you're keeping the same overall diameter, then you're going to have a lot less sidewall on the tire, and may lose some launch traction since you'll have less sidewall flex. :dunno: | ||
