I would like to know how to measure a swaybar?
In millimeter's and inches.
So I know what size bushings to get for it.
Thanks,

Chris G.

Put an adjustable wrench on it and measure between the jaws.

Yea if I could rember what it came off of and what year.
It was a firebird or a camaro Z28 third generation.
I was going to put it on my 85 camaro but it got t-boned a year ago and its gone now.
I would like to put it on my 1997 Camaro Z28.
Its alout bigger than my stock one and my car has the FE2 suspension.
Thanks,

Chris G.

Yeah, your car will be very tail-happy (read: oversteer) with a rear bar that big.

can someone tell me the stock diameter of the rear sway bar on a 01 Z28? Is it 19 or 21 mm? Thanks

Use a set of calipers and measure the outside diameter. Multiple that number times 25.4 to get it in Milimeters.
