Good source for front brake line (hard)??BTM 07-17-2005, 07:16 PM The hard (metal) brake line that connects the proportioning valve to the connection to the flexible hose (front left) on my 1995 Z28 has sprung a leak. Would rather not pay high dealer prices - any ideas of a low-cost replacement source?? You buy the pipe and fittings, flare and custom bend it. Auto supply stores sell lengths of pipe with fittings on them, but you may not find the right combination of fittings already on the pipe.
