Best off the shelf wax/polish ????

What is the best off the shelf wax/polish ????? I want to hear some opinions about the best product for shine and/or durability :)

Depends what store's shelf you're talking about, but I think NXT is sold off the shelf, so that's probably the winner in that regard.

I've found that Nufinish (in the can... paste) is awesome for cars that have not been taking care of.

I think I'd try Liquid Glass.

Hands down it would have to be S100 paste wax sold at harley shops. Nothing imo compares to it and its like $15. (same thing as p21s which is $30)

Well, I have Gold Class now and am definately happy with it. We'll see how long it lasts.

Or over the counter? If you mean a wax or polish that is widely available, then I'd recommend either the Meguiars line (Meguiars makes excellent polishes, and have a wide line of polishes and carnauba waxes) or Mother's.

If you are looking for best results, regardless of where you get the product from, then you will need to do some research. There are some excellent wax products out in the market that will run circles around most of those OTC products IMO.

It also depends on the qualities that are most important to you, durability, protection, ease of use, etc. Do you prefer wax or a synthetic?? I'd try different products and find what you like best. I tried dozens of products for 30 years before trying and staying with a non-over the counter product (begins with a Z ;) )
