Battery GaugeAll4Chevy 07-13-2005, 12:17 AM I am going to try and replace the ammeter or battery gauge because it doesn't work. I will be installing a new separate gauge. I just want to know where the sensor is at that sends the information of what the voltage is...is it part of the alternator or is it separate? I'm not even sure what it is called.
