There was some interest in doing an LT1 Shortblock GP in the other thread, and I am trying to see what kind of interest there is in doing something like this.

So let your voice be heard, and also post what you would be interested in. We can deffinitely get this together if the interest is here.

Thanks

I'd be lookin for a 383 that could hold a good shot of juice.

Let's see who else is.

I would also be looking for a 383. Nothing fancy, just something NA i can spin to 6500 RPM safely. Probably forged pistons with steel rods and crank.

Looking for a 396 forged shorblock Golen can do it for 3,800. Depends on the amount and how it is built.

i'd be interested in purchasing a 383 4 bolt main block or hell even just a block thats .030 over and ready for internals to be put in.

I've been thinking about doing a 383, but unless its a great price i only need a balanced rotating assembly.

I would be in if the price was right on a 383 set up for blower/nitrous...

How about a 383 that will live under the LE3 setup (410-430 RWHP) plus a 200 shot on top of it. It would have to last at least 2 seasons before needing a tear down id hope.

EDIT: 2 seasons as a spring/summer/fall daily driver (8-10K a year) and a good amount of racing and spraying. How long would the bottomend last in these sorts of conditions iwth the setup above?
