Wheels and Drag Radials

i have a WS6 with the stock 17" wheels on it. i have a pair of 16x8 camaro wheels sitting in my garage. my question is will these wheels work if i put drag radials on them or will that throw a lot of things off if i have 17 in front and 16 in back. if that would be fine what size drag radials should i get and where is the best place to find them.

The only 16" drag radials you are going to find are 245/50- or 255/50-16's.

Doesn't matter what size the wheels are, as long as the tires are roughly the same outside diameter, and even that's not important for a 1/4-mile pass. You'll lose a few 100ths with the 17" wheels, because of the added inertia of moving the center of mass farther from the center. But I've seen people run all kind of mix and match tire and wheel combos on the strip.
