BFG Comp TAs good tires?

what do you guys think of them?

especially to the budget performance tires like kuhmo 712s, yoko es100s the new fuziouns and hancocks?

Are you talking about the new BFG G-Force Sport? The Comp T/A's are quite a few years old, replaced by the G-Force line.

BFG comp TA HRA, they are $70 a piece

Probably selling them cheap because its a discontinued tire. That line has been replaced by the "Traction T/A" line. And the HR4 was an "all season" tire (suitable for snow), so its not going to be a high performance tire.

I'd take the old Comp HR's over 712's any day of the week. I've had a couple sets of both.

Call them, I'd bet that tire is at least 3 years old.

Have them read you the last 4 of the DOT number.
