SS air box vs CAI

Ok... i'm planning on purchasing an LT1 SS hood for my 95 mostly for looks.. however i was wondering if i should go with the SS air box as well... I currently have a moroso cold air intake and was wondering how much more efficient the SS air box would be than the CAI if at all... thanks

The cold air intake is probably a bit more efficient, but you gotta love a functional hood scoop!

I have the K&N FIPK CAI, and an OEM SS hood. I stayed with the CAI, and use the hood scoop for engine cooling. Works great.

You can't use a strut tower brace with the SS air box. Unless they have ones out I don't know about.

There are two manufacturers that have them. Hotchkis works, if it is the LS1 version and BMR has an LT1 SS version. I personally have the Hotchkis STB, works great!
