Re: Turbocharged '95 Z28, forged 383

It dyno'd 550 rwhp with the T-trim Vortech at 13 psi. Keep in mind that it's a TH350 with a non-lockup converter. In this trim, it ran 10.40 at 133 mph with no weight removed (~3750 lb). The Vigilange 2800 acts more like a 4000 with the torque from a pressurized stroker.

When I first installed the turbo, it dyno'd 530 rwhp at 13 psi. I realized shortly thereafter that I had a leaky BOV (DSM Gen 2) and a restrictive intercooler pipe (2.5" w/ 90 deg miter bend). When I replaced the pipe with a 3" and installed a Turbo XS BOV, it gained 6 psi boost (no kidding) with no changes to the wastegate or boost controller. When I turned the boost back down to 13 psi, it felt faster than the supercharger - my guess is around 570 rwhp due to the efficiency of the turbo versus the supercharger. I've since turned the boost up to 18 psi with the Meth injection, and expect around 670 rwhp through the auto. I do realize, though, that without dyno proof, that doesn't mean much, but it should give you a feel for it.

Keep in mind it's an auto with a loose-ish converter. On high hp combo's the converter gives an abnormally low reading. Mike Murrillo dyno'd ~680 rwhp through an auto with a good converter, but is running in the high 8's in a full-weight street car.
