More TQ. w/ 598 cu in & 6 Lbs or a 509 & 8 Lbs???billsbird 07-01-2005, 04:08 AM Hello, Was wondering which motor would make more Tq... A 509 cu in with 8 Lbs of boost or a 598 with 6 Lbs??? What do you planning to do with 600 CID of blown big block? breakmyfootoff 07-01-2005, 02:18 PM I am less familiar with the roots blowers, I know they make instant boost and provide a lot more power down low but I would still say that almost a 100 cubic inches is going to give you more torque than 2 psi worth of boost.
