Question Pass. window switch on drivers side

The switch on the drivers side door that runs the pass. side window stopped working on my car. I took the switch out, and one prong that is supposed to be hot, isnt hot. Where do i start looking. I am guessing a wire got broke in the door somewhere. Any common places these things break???

Re: Pass. window switch on drivers side

The drivers side door switch (for the pass window) and the passenger side switch are interconnected. Check the pass. side switch also.

Re: Pass. window switch on drivers side

Sorry I didnt reply back, I have been gone for a few days. The passenger side switch is fine. Its just the drivers side (passenger window) switch that is not working. I can role the window down with the passenger side switch. What could cause just the drivers side one to crap out.

It's most likely the switch. Not the best. I've replaced several in resent years.
