Those with Mallory's hyfire VI map sensor inside please

I have a mallory hyfire VI and was looking at their map sensor for boost referenced timing. It looks like it mounts where the stock one does on the manifold. If so, can I eliminate the stock one or do I have to mount it somewhere else. Thanks

You need to run a vaccume line to it, you cannot replace the stock senser with it because then where does the ECM get its MAP reading?

So I just mount the sensor anywhere and then run the vacuum line off of one of the ports on the intake. Cool Thanks
