What kind of increase in hp can I expect from a custom tune vs stock. I have a 7lb vortech non intercooled, Stock exhaust manifolds, Flowmaster exhaust without convt. Also who would everyone recomend for the job. I am very impatiant and would rather pay more money to have it done yesterday

When I added my D1sc, I was told to get bigger injectors and a custom tune.

Generally you're not looking for more HP with a tune on a blown car, you're more worried about keeping it from eating itself alive. There's several people who are very good with mail order tuning, Bryan or Ion can do the job. I'd prefer a wide band dyno tune myself. Oh, you might want to work on a little patience, especially with a blown stock engine. :)

Noticed that with your whining about Vortech :p

Agree with the last guy, you should be more interested in holding it together and having it run reliably vs. making max power.....you can tune for max power but on a stock block don't expect it to hold together too long.

If you listed where you lived someone might be able to help you find a local person.
