I bought a used Procharger P1SC that has the 3 core intercooler upgrade. Where should I mount my intercooler for ease of install and good flow?

The mounting holes on the 3-core will match up almost perfectly w/ the holes on the end of the frame where the crash support mounts. I had mine up there and also mounted my Spearco in the same spot.

i have a 95 formula. i cutout the nose where the license plate sits and installed the 3 core there. it fit like a glove. i purchased a non ati 3 core intercooler. so in reguards to fitting issues it may vary

Thanks! ;) I just wish 100 octane was a little cheaper than $4.60 a gallon.

That seems a little to radical for me. Although it is really nice. I think I want to mount the 3 core in front of the radiator. How do I modify it to fit there? There is a piece of metal that the hood latch mounts on that will have to be moved and it looks like the windshield washer tank will have to go. Anybody done this or have a website or pics for me?

Thanks again for all the replies

Removing the bumper support will give you the room that you will need for the 3 core. I had to remove "a little more" than that to fit my Griffin intercooler in there. I even kept the windshield washer tank... it's a street car after all. ;)

It's a simple install.

Remove crash support, bolt on intercooler and run piping. It doesn't interfere w/ the hood latch or wiper resevoir.

This was taken as a "work in progress". :D

Great,

Thanks for all the help. Do you have to cut holes in the air damn up front or can I just funnel it in from the bottom like the radiator does it.

I used to use the open fog light holes, but changed it a little for the turbos.
