anybody have shorty or midlength headers with a high flow cat and a cutout installed, any pictures

I have a 94 LT1 w/ mods in sig. and it's still too quiet for me (it gets louder at 4,000rpm + but i want it louder! i was thinking of putting and e-cutout in front of the high flow cat

IF ANYBODY HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE SAY SO!!!.....

I have stock exhaust w/ a cut-out and can get a quick vid for you tonight if you want to hear it. It's plenty loud (i.e. sets off alarms) and kind of raw. You might like it!

awsome!, do you have any pictures of it also? Where is the cutout located?

It's in the "normal" position for a stock exhaust, right behind the pass seat just past the cat. I'll get you some pics and small Quciktime vid from my digital camera. This is all stock exhaust including a factory cat.

I really like it and there's a bunch of guys here with similar set ups. It sounds a little trashy but I like it :D. It's plenty loud and will definitely turn heads.

Nice ride BTW...paint is beautiful. I had a 94 Z too! Now I have a 94 Formula, M6, Leather, T-Tops.

OK Dude - there's a few pics here, and a video you can download (Quicktime). These aren't dial up friendly so let me know if this is a problem and I will shrink them and e-mail to you (except the vid - nothing I can do about that).

The video doesn't really do it any justice...it is LOUD. At the end you can hear my wife yelling at me beacause it's so freaking loud :metal:

Not to rain on your parade but i think my Flowmaster 40 series muffler sounds the same if not louder. And my girlfriend still thinks it could be louder... :D (but yet her step-dad drag races a 9 second '69 camaro  )

but a flowmaster won't touch a cutout performance-wise.

im considering getting one very soon for my stock LT1.

since it is dumped to the side a little bit, is it noticably louder on the passenger side than on the driver side?

I've got a DMH electric cutout in the same location as RocCityZman. Loud or quiet at the flip of a switch... I love it!

That's next...it's kind of a PITA getting under there every time I want to cap that thing...still totally worth it though :).
