94 Z28, 177,000 miles....hehe, but anywho, now that you know the car, the car ticks when i turn the wheel. hardly does it when i go in reverse and does it a ton when i take slow forward turns. It just makes a "ticking" noise like it's passing a gear over some hard plastic or something. and i looked and i can't find anything that would make that, where is it coming from? how do i fix it? and what is it?

Might be the Limited-Slip worn out.... Mine made a grinding noise when moving slow in reverse and turn left...

my guess is the cv joints.

No, it isn't the posi, it's coming from the front of the car and it's way to loud to be the LSD. It does it in certain points of the turn going both ways so i think it might be catching on something, but what?

Might be the "wheel bearing assembly"..... Easy to change out.....4 bolts.... Cost around 60~75 dollars.. Change both out if you can afford it....
Mine made a humming noise at 60 MPH, while making a wide turn on the freeway..

I think CV Joints are FWD only. We have tie rods keeping the steering components together.

Another thing i think is messed up is that it'll pull to the right really bad when i first start driving it for the day, then when i drive it for a bit, it'll center itself and be fine, then it'll start pulling to the left. and also when i push on the brake sometimes it REALLY pulls to the right or left, sometimes i need both hands to fight it. Is an alignment called for?

Hey Saginaw buddy...
There are now CV Joints in a RWD car like a Trans Am
if anything it might be a broken strut or coil

If it was a broken strut shouldn't i be worried about taking "25 MPH" corners at 55?
Then here's ONE more thing, haha, i was having some fun obviously (who doesn't) and i noticed when i get above 75 MPH the wheel starts to rock back and forth, along with the car. i don't have to fight it, it just rocks like something isn't quite centered, hope that helps.

Take it to get aligned, if something is wrong ie. inner/outer tie rods then they will find out. Also if they can get it aligned then you shouldn't have a steering problem
