First, do you hear the pump kick on when the the key is turned to on position? Assuming that checks out, how old is the fuel filter? Kataklysm 06-19-2005, 11:02 AM Definitly make sure it either isn't getting fuel or spark before you go buying parts. 1crazylt1 06-19-2005, 02:27 PM ok like 2 weeks ago brang it to the shop for boggin out..they changed the plugs,wires,fuel filter and disturbutor..the car has 110,00 miles on it. yes i do hear the fuel pump turn on wen u turn the key OBE1 95Z28 06-19-2005, 05:52 PM Attach a fuel pressure gauge to the Schrader valve on the fuel rails and check your fuel pressure. Fuel pressure should come up to around 36 psi and slowly decline after the pump stops (2 second time out). If the pressure drops quickly, the check valve in the fuel pump is shot and the fuel pump will need to be replaced. | ||
