You can do a great job yourself and spend only $1k on paint and supplies assuming you already have a good air compressor with a moisture trap. The biggest downfall of painting your own car is that you don't have a paint booth and you can't bake the paint when your done. A good way for a beginner is to take a body class at your local community college and learn and paint your car there at the same time. | ||
