A guy by the name of Ron, works at Autotech on m59 in Highland. Best there is. Actually painted many concept cars for the big 3 including the Cadillac Sixteen, Ford's concept GT, and many custom choppers.

Always rememebr with paint you get what you pay for a good paint job will run about 4000 show quality starts at 6000 and up I have close to 2500 in just paint materials for my truck right now and its a plain black truck.

Whats a good place to learn how to paint on the internet? I got my basics down and have a little experince but i need to paint a few panels on my car and would like a thorough guide.... I know that there is one on projecttransam.com

It's not that hard to paint a car yourself. You can do a great job yourself and spend only $1k on paint and supplies assuming you already have a good air compressor with a moisture trap. The biggest downfall of painting your own car is that you don't have a paint booth and you can't bake the paint when your done. A good way for a beginner is to take a body class at your local community college and learn and paint your car there at the same time.
