Which transmission fluid line is the "return" from the radiator, top or bottom?

Which transmission fluid line is the "return" from the radiator, top or bottom?
Trying to figure out on an A4 which transmission fluid line is the "return" connecting to the radiator...there a top one and one on the bottom part of the radiator....which is returning the fluid back to the transmission?
