F-body Clash At Atco

F-BODY CLASH Sunday 6/19/05 at ATCO. Anyone going or have any info on the event? :confused:

I have the same thing over here. Wife has every freaken weekend till kingdom come booked up. What joys. I would like to know more about this cause I want to go.

Brian, I'm extremely luckey to have someone like Linda. :D Linda schedules things and I show up between races. Lately I've been getting done very early at the grove and meeting her up at the lake. :rolleyes:

I'm comming down with the teal car and Rick will be driving the red one. Hopefully there will be several classes so I can run a different one than Rick.

I got married in '84. The schedule on the weekends just opend up late last year... :lol:

Wow, I think ATCO is a great track to run at. It's only problem is that its 2 hours away. I'm gona try to break into the 12's this Sunday. ;)

It's Father's Day! I'm not sure if I'll make it or not. Perhaps if my dad wants to take a ride down, I'll go with him.

I also have that lesson planning crap to do. It is extremely time consuming! I did less work when I was a student than I'm doing as a teacher. :eek:

Anyway, I'll see what I can do to get down there at least for a little while.

EDIT: Rick and I don't plan things for each other either. If I make plans for us, I check ALL track schedules first. :)

I have a problem. Liz makes plans for us months in advance and I will end up in a tiffy if I argue. We have a Father's day dinner here on Sat night and he rcousin's baby is having his christining on sunday.... I have to go or I will end up making my own life miserable...

Jim, you drove right past me this morning. Rt38 and 541. I was sitting at the light on 38 heading towards LBI and suddenly I see this Firebird cross right in front of me;) It was 8:30am exactly.

Liz and I picked up the new ride so you never would have seen me.

Brian, very small turnout. I got a very luckey break and beat Rick in the finals. :eek: Rick never drove my car before today. Final round, I cut a .051 light and ran 11.761 on a 11.79 dial. Rick cut a .011 :eek: and ran 14.699 on a 14.75 dial. I let off the gas just at the end. Double break out...... He took the strip by .0225 and was mad at himself for taking too much strip.:confused: I'm amazed at Ricks ability to take any car and be competivite. Like I said, I got lucky. :D

Ron, I got to install carpet and mufflers on the teal car for the RP EFI event. It should be ready in time. See ya there. ;)

haha, that great Jim... but .022 is probably the width of the actual paint stripe anyway. Turn out would have been better if it want on fathers day. I know of 4 people who didnt go just because of that.
