what kind of lid and paper filter?

 

SLP and factory replacement would do just fine (ACDelco). Check out the sponsors to start. You can look for used lids in the for sale sections of this board and others like www.ls1tech.com to save a few bucks. You can also find deals on eBay sometimes. I wouldn't pay more than $75 for a used one considering you can get a new one to your door for $100. If you go with SLP, it will have a hook-up for your AIR tube (sticks out of the drivers side of the lid). Otherwise, you'll need a separate "breather" filter found at Autozone, Advanced Auto, etc.
