I have an American Sports Car Design SS hood and it lines up ok. I was wondering what it takes to make it look really good.

 

I see some of you have voted. I was wondering what hood you guys have and what it took to make it perfect.

 

I don't know if I can consider mine aftermarket since it is a genuine SLP SS hood, but I bought it raw (no paint)

It lines up perfect except the last 5" in the rear of the hood in the drivers side sits up about 1/8". It's as good as I could ever hope to have. I could even fix that slight problem, but it's not worth the effort, since it's barely noticable. I voted "good"

i have an FFI ss hood- it was perfect but seems to have ... either warped or settled over the winter driving her.. im going to need to try and adjust it but it sits about 1/8th low on one side and 1/8th high on other... other than that its perfect

 

VFN cowl induction hood on my '94 with perfect fitment.

 

My DG ZL1 hood fit perfect. I also had a Suncoast ram air style (pre-blower) and it took alot of extra work to get it to line up. I talked to them about it and at first it was that my car was in an accident which is not possible since I bought the car new, then it was that not all cars are the same .
