Turning rotors, what are my options.

Well, I need to get all 4 rotors on my car turned. The cheapest around here is 22$ per rotor, and that's a bit steep for me.

So, here's what I was thinking of as an alternative.

I work at a manufacturing plant. There we have a large grinder that used to grind cylinder heads at a GM plant. I was thinking of having the machinist mill them down flat.

We also have a CNC machine which I can operate. I was thinking of throwing them on there, loading up the 1" end mill and milling them down.

Would either of those be ok for a rotor? Both machines provide plenty of cutting oil flow, so they should keep the metal pretty cool. Is it ok to just get rotors flat, or do they need to be polosihed or anything?

that will be better quality work than having them turned. When I have mine turned at the oil change place, they turn them dry and there are always lined from truning. If grind them they will have a much nicer finish than turning.
