Any issues running without a crossbrace?

After I switched to a T56, my torque arm sits very close to the y-pipe.
The car was making some bad noises when stopped and at take off speeds. I got under the car and noticed the y-pipe was touching the torque arm. Took the crossbrace off and it is no longer touching it nor is it making those sounds. I still have very small clearance between the y-pipe and torque arm (about 1/4" at most) but will I have any problems running without the brace until I get this clearance issue fixed? Actually, I will probably have to do something about that brace either way because even with the automatic it was flush with the y-pipe and pushing it a bit up.

You'll be fine. That POS g load brace does nothing for structural integrity. It's about as strong as tin foil......
