I was thinking of buying the rle sway bars from gm.

I have the stock z28 suspension do you guys think that i would see a noticeable difference or should i just buy some aftermarket big boys?

Go aftermarket. I would use either the Suspension Techniques solid 35mm or Stano's hollow 35mm.

I wouldn't go larger than a 21mm in the rear.
