You're so going to need some suspension mods once you start driving that! LOL
Looks good!

Looks like you're gonna have some hood clearance issues. Can't wait to see it get done. I'm about to do a TH350 --> 2004R swap in Jen's C3. The old tranny was too big of a granny once I put the heads & cam on it. 3rd starting slipping the first time I drove it. It lasted almost a month and now there is almost no more grip at all in 3rd gear. It's just like driving on a burnt out clutch. 1st & 2nd are awesome though. lol. It'll be nice to have that overdrive with lockup torque converter in it. Talk about a daily driver with AC and good mileage. Who would have expected that from a '77 Vette? You need to come see it sometime.

Its still gonna handle like a truck. I never liked the way those things drove, didnt impress me much. Id take a 4th gen with worn out abused suspension and still get a better ride quality than that thing. Im sure you'll be upgrading that in the future though, and it will be nice in the end. To each his own. Good luck.

A '57 Chevy Belair wouldn't handle for beans either but that's not why you own them. Same with a C3. They're not the best corner carvers. But they're still awesome cars.
We have newer cars with refined suspensions for turning corners.

NOTHING has the looks of a C3.... unique body style with a unique engine.... sounds like a winner to me... I just need a paint job now. Orginal paint.
Chuck... I love to see your C3.
As far as handling... NO autoxer here  I have skinny tires up front now. TT-II Trying to reduce weight also. shooting for less than 3300 w/o driver. With a spare tire holder gone, a LS1 motor, light weight wheels and tires I should be there.
Daily driver with a 12 second ET is what I am going for. Looking to make about 325 rwhp and 375-380 rwtq
