My Dad is moving (retiring) in July. House is built. Apparently this is a community with waterways and private docks.
Planning on visiting in September. Will be driving the Z, What are some local attractions/things to do/places to see etc.
Thanks,
Lori

yup. It's a small rural town just north of Daytona. It's a quick hop south on the interstate and you're right there in the heart of daytona. Lots of stuff to do, lots of traffic, lots of sights. Just not much in Palm Coast itself except residences.

Yeah, it used to be a fairly small retirement hotspot. Now it's one of the fastest growing communities in the country.
Like Joe said, there isn't too much to do in Palm Coast itself. However, it's easy to drive south into Daytona, or north into St. Augustine. Both of which offer a lot more to see and do. Probably the best thing in Palm Coast is the Hammock Dunes golf course...lol.

Very nice area, my company builds homes out there and we stay very busy. Like said before, boring area and there are other areas fairly close by to it.
Out of curiousity, who did your dad buy a home from?

I'm not trying to hijack the thread and I know this is a longshot, but...
Were you visiting FL this past February?
I ask because I was on my way to Titusville in mid-Feb. on Hwy. 50 when this silver or white LS1 Trans Am was next to me and there was a guy driving and a woman in the passenger seat. The Trans Am had a Kentucky license plate and the woman complimented me on my car and said she had an '02 SS Anniversary Edition and her father had a Corvette (I think) and we talked about F-Bodies for a few seconds before the light turned green.
Was that you?

No, it was not me. In fact, my car still has Ohio tags on it that say BIGRED Z
as I still haven't gotten around to switching to KY plates.
But I do know a girl named Jen that has a silver SS. KY plates say
SMOKIN SS. Her dad is also into vettes and F-bods. He has a 35th SS.
John R Jutting is the name, I guess he is the builder/contractor/developer.
