Here are 2 threads. They are quite lengthy, but they deserve defending. 2 trolls, (do the names gotboost? and camracer ring a bell?) are trying to call BS on that 600 something hp Camaro that took out that fabled Evo w/ like 650hp. I dont know much about forced induction, so I really can't defend that point.
I feel stupid asking for help like this, but nobody except for like, 4 members (myself included) has enough gonadal-tissue to fend our American Muslce

What's the point....the lounge is there for a reason. And this forum is here for one as well....not to sound like a dink but that troll garbage should stay where it is and not be brought into this forum since that thread is hardly FI related and just a couple of trolls doing what trolls love to do.

 

GotBoost? isn't anybody new...used to be "RawAzzLT1" on here a while back and has gotten banned a couple of times. I've pretty much given up on those threads... nothing technical and "those" members will do nothing but resort to sarcasm and "i'm innocent" attitudes when their comments start a flame war.

Could turn into good technical debates, but oh the pity of ignorance.

Some do, but the FI topic on this board is pretty much dead. Don't hear much about it anymore as most of the people who were serious into it now post elsewhere. That's one reason why it's so easy for the import crowd to come on here talking junk, some of the people who would best put them in their place aren't here anymore. That and the ones who are still here stray away from those threads, when their experience and technical knowledge would quickly settle those little "discussions."

If you really want to learn about and see more of FI with domestics, you need to check out www.turbomustangs.com and the FI forum of www.ls1tech.com . There's some real big-name people and performance shops that post regularly on those forums. Lots of good info and very cool cars.

No matter how much you try and prove those guys wrong they will come up with 1000's more examples of fast 4 cylinders crushing V8 muscle. Take my advice, ignore every thread they try to start a flame war. If everyone did that to them, they will leave or stop posting

I have owned a high hp Camaro and a high hp Subaru and to be honest enjoy driving the Subaru STI alot more. I understand that people will have their preferences on things but there are alot of knowledgeable tuners out there with fast cars. I think the whole ricer comment really has to do with the maturity of the individual. My buddy own a CRX that is street driven and could beat 80% the cars in this forum. He also has alot less into it than most. I know what it takes to build a fast Camaro and it is not cheap.

Arguements about things like this are for high school kids.
