If not I would stick with the set up you got, cuz there will be no real noticeable difference (if any) in SPL. There are three ways to get a noticeable difference in SPL. First would be to go with a custom ported box, if built right you will get up to a 3db gain. Second would be to double your power (wouldn't recommend with that sub) and you will get a 3db gain. Last would be to add another sub, which will get you a 3db gain as well. chris96camaro 05-28-2005, 10:29 AM I will be getting a kenwood amp that runs 900 rms at 1 and 2 ohms. Thats more than double the wattage going to the w6v2. Rashiki 05-29-2005, 09:05 AM Go with the Diamond. Not only will it handle more power, but it's got an efficiency rating of 91db. The JL has a lower power handling, and also a much lower efficiency rating of 85.9db. The lower the efficiency rating, the more power it takes to get to a certain spl. If your driver is more efficient, the less power it will take. Diamond, hands down. | ||
