I have the SLP cold air kit and was wondering if there's any advantage to having something like the SSRA. From what I understand, it's the same as the SLP with an extra piece that comes down further. Any comments?

they sell the add on for other cai scoops to be equal to ssra. other than that you will find fans of both. i loved my ssra, i need to get a new lower scoop as they dont hold up when the wife drives it into a parking bumper.

The only complaint I have about mine is it leans my car out over 100~110mph to the point where I'm getting knock retard. A copy of HPTuners and a little work should take care of that though. The Predator just doesn't have enough options/range to fix the problem and the custom tune I was offered a month ago is still not ready.

it boils down to this...
the SLP is a cold air induction...
the SSRA is a cold air induction at slow speeds...and a TRUE ram air at higher speed.
which do you think is more effective?
