AMW oil catch cans (http://www.accmachtech.com/pcvcatchcans.htm)
seems like a good way to keep oil out of the engine. i know the stock PCV is well known for eating oil, this would keep the oil from entering the engine and gumming up the internals.
NOW...
is this more effective than the LS6 system? does the LS6 PCV swap prevent the oil comsumption that the LS1 has?
thanks...

From what I understand the catch can is the best alternative, but ive heard of people making their own for like 20 bucks. I believe there was a thread on here a while back about it. But I would definitely search before I spent almost 100 just to order one.
Good Luck

same people who spend $50 on a smooth bellows because SLP says it increases hp.
seriously..
explain to me how to make one (that looks decent) and i would't spend that much.
but to have a nice looking anodized can, proper sealing, and instructions...i think it may be worth it.

Get a metal can, tap a hole in it for a bleeder screw, attach some nozzles for rubber hoses and you got a oil catch can. I guess im just a DIY at heart I guess. I don't have a smooth bellows nor bought into it either.

I got an AMW catch can last year on a GP. Very nice unit. A little pricey but the craftsmanship is awesome.
I am shocked at how much oil my car sucks thru the pcv system on a road course. Not much on the street, drag strip, or autox though. I just purchased the LS6 pcv conversion, Hopefully it will help.
