I agree - just cost. I have the Pacesetter's and could not be happier.

stainless doesn't rust...period.

standard headers can rust, even coated they can chip and then rust.

I got the Hookers, no particular reason other than they've been around a long time and now I can say I've got hookers in my car. :)

Save your money and get the QTP stainless headers. Do it right the first time.

Get KOOKs, stainless steel = the best and kooks makes a large steped header. I have pace setters, they are crap...they were on the car when I got them so I didn't have a choice. They are a year old and all the coating is coming off, the y pipe changes sizes and the welds on the headers are terrible. You get what you pay for, if they can sell parts for half the price of other companies theres reasons for it...cheaper materials.

Man if i had tons o' cash I would buy some 900 headers but i would like to buy used and cheap but not craptastic. to save some dough. So what would fill these requirements?

I see the coated headers going for around 300 to 400 dollars pretty often, I just sold a a set of coated hooker LTs for 350.00.
