Tail lights

every time i hit the breaks the bulbs go out. I have replaced the bulbs its not that. they improved when i replaced the flasher for the turn signals but went back down hill fast. any ideas its only the left side not working properly. I seem to have problems with lights on every one of these cars i buy :(


thanks for any ideas in advance i just wasnt wanting to go through and start searching for a short

Almost sounds like a crummy ground...
