runflats?

yes or no... i'm highly considering them with the low profile i have to run and not having a spare it would be nice to know i can drive a few extra miles to keep from towing.

Re: runflats?

They are heavy tires and offer **** poor traction. Other than that they are ok I guess.

I wouldn't touch them with.......well you know what the rest is. My dad has EMTs on his 02 vette and they're worthless for traction. Plus if you want to remove them you have to find a place that can..not just any place can remove EMTs. I'd stay away from them at all costs.

Re: runflats?

well i'm not looking for a race tire. my last set of toyos weren't that great at the strip but were just fine for the street yet i want something nicer. looking to either bfg kdw new style or a set of pilot p2's. i'm considering the runflat just because i can't fit a spare tire and the size of my rims leaves me out there for bad roads here in michigan so i could use some insurance. just a thought, i appreciate the insight.
