I was wondering what it would take to put 330 rwhp to the ground threw a tpi setup. Some limitations though are below 5500 rpm 1 5/8 inch headers and a tight converter.

Is this in a 305 or 350? im gonna say for a 350 cause a 305 is a lot harder. 350 you would need a 3" exhaust (y pipe flows just as well as duals) and you cant have obstructions like a tiny cat. You would need a new intake or at the very least to port your intake base and runners. That combined with either ported stock heads, or stock aftermarket heads something relatively cheap, and an lt1 cam should get you where you want to be. 87DJP2001 05-19-2005, 07:54 AM If you have the money anything is possible. But with a stock motor and dong nothing internal you are not going to make your quoted number much less at the Rear wheels. you will need at least 400 + Hp at the flywheel and that is a reach. ;) Kevin91Z 05-23-2005, 11:51 PM Follow my combo, except substitute Trick Flow heads instead of Corvette heads. Mod list is in the link in my sig. doug791 05-24-2005, 12:32 AM If you dont even have the money for a hi flow converter, then you pretty much have enough money to buy winshield washer fluid. Buy the yellow stuff, i hear it gives you 20 hp. dcrews 06-01-2005, 10:04 AM i do believe tight converter means TORQUE converter guywithaZ 06-01-2005, 11:49 AM Is nitrous an option cause that would make a whole lot easier... | ||
