It's a 92' Camaro.. pulling the 305tbi out and in with a 355...
it will be running a comp cam 206/212@50 D w/ 425/440lift.. with a edelbrock intake.. and 5 angle valve job. Nothing special.
Since the TBI never came on the 350 where do I get a chip for it.. and will it be safe to use the stock injector?
Thanks for any help

Do you really want to stay with the TBI? I'd suggest a mpfi setup or just a carb, but then again that's just because I don't know crap about tbi.

Can I ask why you want to stick with the TBI?
What about in ecm/chip options from the tbi trucks? They have 350 TBI's Also, I've heard something about 454 tbi? Meh, just throwing out ideas.

Cause it's staying cheap and simple.
I asked the guy at Summit Racing Tech dept. if I could use a truck computer and he said no. So I just figured I couldn't...
I don't know

Well I'd check out the DIY PROM board, TBI board, etc over at thirdgen.org. I'd still look into mpfi :D

You need someone to burn a custom chip for your set up since nothing stock will work for you. Its a custom chip or learn to burn your own which might be cheaper and worthwhile. The ECM does't need to be changed only the chip.

You could start with a chip from a 350 TBI Caprice but even from that you will need some tuning to get it running the best. I suggest checking out the TBI and DIY PROM boards over at thirdgen.org. You will get a lot better response over there instead of everyone bashing TBI like they do over here. TBI has its limitations but if you aren't looking for a 9 sec street car then you will be fine with it.

Chances are the car will run on the stock tune, but it may not be very friendly. I would recommend custom tuning to get the most out of your setup.
Most people who have experience with tuning will tell you to stay away from mail-order tuning.
