Hey guys, I bought a new toy, and its time to move on. I already miss this car, and it pains me GREATLY to do this, but I don't have a choice at this point.

1999 Chevrolet Camaro SS #3131
-Navy Blue Metallic
-Fully loaded
-6-speed
-T-tops
-power EVERYTHING
-Charcoal leather interior
-71,xxx miles

Now for the good stuff! And depending on how this goes, parts that come with the car will affect the price (primarily if you want the 9" or not, and the TTII's!)

Engine mods:
-LS1 motorsports Lid
-K&N Air filter
-Ported MAF
-Smooth Bellows
-MSD wires
-NGK TR55 plugs
-LS6 intake
-GM LS1 Hot Cam (219/228 .525/.525 112 lsa)
-GM LS6 valve springs
-GM LS6 intake and exhaust valve stem seals
-Comp Cams hardened pushrods
-Rollmaster billet single roller timing set
-Texas Speed ported LS6 oil pump

Exhaust:
-Stainlessworks 1 3/4 long tube headers, race style no emissions *
-Custom true dual exhaust, 2 1/2 into an h-pipe, then into 2 chamber low-profile Flowmaster mufflers, PN 325408. Ground clearance is amazing, and I have NEVER scraped. *
-!EGR
-!AIR
-Bosch Corvette 02 sensors (have the longer lead, no need for 02 extenders and have a superior heater circuit) *

Transmission:
-New GM LS6 clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and flywheel *
-New (01+ style) Hydraulics, with drill mod on line *
-D&D T56 6-speed transmission, with steel Viper shift forks, carbon fiber synchros and blocker rings, new bearings, billet strut keys (these WILL NOT break and lock your transmission in gear like the stock ones will) *
-GM Synchromesh trans fluid *
-Pro 5.0 shifter
-Lou's short stick
-SLP shift knob
-!CAGS

Suspension:
-1LE springs
-Newer DeCarbon shocks and struts
-Energy suspension poly motor mounts *
-Kenny Brown Double Diamond subframe connectors (best there is!)
-BMR Strut tower brace
-BMR Boxed lower control arms
-BMR solid torque arm *
-BMR adjustable pan hard bar
-ADDCO HD rear sway bar
-Energy suspension poly trans mount

Rearend:
-Moser 9" housing, professionally assembled by Scott Koresky (1BAD86Z) *
-SVO 4.11 ring and pinion *
-Trac Loc posi *
-Moser 31 spline HD axles *
-ABS and TCS still function as normal
-Solid pinion spacers *
-New bearings, seals and fluid *
-BMR weld on swaybar mounts
-Spicer U-joint installed to allow use of stock aluminum driveshaft with Ford input

Miscellaneous:
-Earl's performance braided stainless steel brake lines *
-Autometer electric water temp gauge and vacuum gauge installed in a-pillar
-PCV catch can system
-Stull Billet Grille with blue '69 Bowtie
-93 to 96 style tail lights (look way better with NBM)
-Clear turn signals (front only, rear sidemarkers are still red)
-Berger tail panel, painted semi-flat black in color with new GM SS and bowtie emblems
-RK sport Urethane silver "CAMARO" fill ins
-Corvette fuel rail covers
-DeRaile power steering cooler
-GENTEX NVS rear view mirror, has auto dimming feature, and built in compass and thermometer. Same style and manufacturer as what comes stock in Cadillacs and GM trucks. My best friend works for Gentex and got me this mirror, it looks stock except for small LCD display on the mirror itself.

Wheels and tires:
-17 x 9.5 American Racing Torque Thrust II's, chrome of course *
-Chevrolet Bowtie centercaps *
-BFG G-force TA tires (great tread)

Things that have been replaced on the car, that do not affect performance in any way:
-New GM water pump
-New gaskets for the front of engine, replaced with GM parts during cam swap
-new GM leather shift boot, old one cracked
-factory speakers were replaced with Kenwoods, sound OK (I'm not into car audio)
-New belts, both main and AC
-New tensioner, replaced when trying to track down squeal
-New Duralast battery
-New fuel filter

PARTS WITH A * AFTER HAVE BETWEEN 2,000 and 1,500 MILES ON THEM

Things wrong/flaws:
-Minor stone marks on hood and front fascia, only noticeable from close up
-2 small stone chips on drivers side door, I put touch up paint on it and its hardly noticeable unless you are close
-Due to the aftermarket synchros in the transmission, it sometimes makes a rattle at idle. It isnt loud by any means, but is sometimes noticeable. I spoke with the builder at D&D about this, and I brought it up to show him (I live 15 miles from D&D) and he said it was normal with the harder synchros and not to worry about it
-Due to the cam in the car, it does not like to start and idle with the AC on. It starts and idles great if the AC is not engaged, and when the engine has been running for a minute, turning the AC on is not a problem. The simple fix for this is to turn the AC off before turning off the car, and waiting a minute to turn it on once you start the car.

This car has been dyno-tuned by APE, and everything has been properly calibrated. The speedo has been recalibrated for the 4.11 gears, EGR and AIR have been removed so it throws no codes, same for the rear 02 sensors. The cooling fans have been programmed to come on earlier, keeping the engine cool. I RELIGIOUSLY change the oil using only Mobil 1, every 2500 to 3000 miles, and I use only AC Delco oil filters. I cannot stress how well this car runs, I drive it daily weather permitting. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere, and before the 9" and trans work I drove it to Florida several times (cam and all). It is a Michigan car, however it has NEVER seen a Michigan winter. Aside from road dirt the undercarriage is spotless and rust free, save for surface rust on the front control arms and a few spots on the K-member. Oil pressure is great, it routinely hits 75-80 psi, and I've never seen it drop below 40, even at a hot idle. This car also put down 393 rwhp and 376 ft/lbs on the dyno, however that was through the stock rear with 3.42 gears. Numbers may be slightly lower with the different gearset, however the increase from going to 4.11's has more than made up for it. I have never taken this car to the track, this may seem odd to some of you considering the modifications. I mod for fun, not competition. I will say that this car pulls VERY hard in the city and on the expressway, and I do not advise this car be given to an inexperienced driver. I love this car, the only reason I am selling it is because I bought a Corvette and cannot afford the payments and insurance on 2 sports cars, plus a daily driver, rent, and other living expenses.

I will remove the 9" and replace it with a newly rebuilt (1BAD86Z) 10 bolt. I also may replace the TTII's with my C5 wagon wheels, depending on what I get for the car.

I will have MANY MANY MANY pictures up later today.

Mike's a good guy. I sold him a beater about a year ago, and the transaction went very smoothly. I got to see his SS at that time, and it was a very sharp car. I wouldn't have any worries about doing another deal with him.

I took the Berger panel off yesterday, I was taking it back to stock but I want to try this first. It can go back on, and will come with the car. I feel sick now, this was my baby...

LOL... Fixed Roof Coupe, like the Z06. Thanks for the compliments guys! Unfortunately I can't take any trades, well... maybe I could take a partial for a cheap daily driver, but I need to pay the car off.
