To Those That Succesfully Moved Battery To Trunk???

If you have moved your battery to the trunk and have no problems would you mind telling me how you wired it all up?I need to know where all you put ground straps and things like that.I'd like to find someone who has done it succesfully and had no problems so I know it's proven.
Thanks in advance.

Put a box in the rear.Run a 0 guage wire to the front and hook it were the cable originally hooked at the junction box,run it underneath the car and attach to frame with conduit clips and self tapping screws.Run a ground underneath and drill a hole or find a bolt or cap screw to attach it to.Make sure the ground is sanded and clean on the body.Have someone crimp the ends on your cables cause most people don't have the tool.
Ya can get it all at NAPA and have them crimp it too.

I didn't even crimp mine. I just soldered it. Hope that doesn't become a problem.

But yeah, it worked for me.

Re: To Those That Succesfully Moved Battery To Trunk???

I already ran the wire when I was doing other things to my car.Except I ran mine through the interior. That will be ok right?Since already have the wire ran I guess I'll have a problem having Napa crimp my terminals.I know the guys their pretty well so maybe I can see if they will let me barrow it.So I just run the ground from the battery to somewhere on the body right.I put my battery in the spare tire compartment, anybody have any recommendations on where I should ground?
Thanks for the replies fellas.

Yea the body is a common ground, but you need a thick piece of body not the floor pan more like a brace or frame so it won't work loose. Yea inside with the wires is OK.
