The TA belongs to Thomas Hawkins.A Black dude that talks more smack than anyone else I know (all in fun)
His TA is the one that runs at Darlington and is the same one that Jim is tuning on this eve at Mooresville.
I was there , but left early so I didnt get to see if Thomas and Jim got into the 6s or not.
My 60' went to hell and all I managed was an 8.01 , but at a new best 94.5 mph.

It was way too crowded though, I think next trip will be back to Darlington.

See you guys and gals later

Mike

No kidding it was crowded... an hour wait between runs... untill after about 9 when I started seeing the same cars again after about 20 minutes or so.
I saw 2 green T/A's... one must have been Thomas' and the other Jim's maybe? They were both hooked up. I only got in two runs and ran a new best 1/8 of... drum roll please... 8.966 @ 78.263MPH against a White LS1 WS6... I hung with him pretty well believe it or not... he ran an 8.654@85.721MPH... I jumped his *** of the line though by just about .3 ... so that helped alot... he was able to easily reel me back in for the win. He would have killed me in the 1/4

I was there, I spoke with Mike and made about 4 runs before I left. Clutch has gone on to the great clutch graveyard. I want to feel bad for the guy in the Mustang that broke his axles, but he told his buddies that his car walked me. And was talking crap. I feel sorry for his dad, I spoke with him after I raced him the first time, he was pretty cool, even though I beat him.... 4k clutch dumps on slicks with stock axles......BOOM......

Hope to be back soon

Hopefully we will hook up next time.

91and95Z28Chick, Yeah I know Terry real good too.He has a real fast Z too.Do you know Paul in the pewter TA (Ls1) ?
He is friends with Thomas too.I am friends with all of them including Indy Chris.Only thing Is...
Im Married (32) and have a 13 year old son so its real hard for me to get to the gatherings to meet new people.I usually bump into new F-body bretheren at the strip when I get the chance to go.
Is your name Sue ?
I think Ive heard Chris talk about you and your nice ride.

Later
Mike

You guys keep an eye out for my friend in Mooresville. He has a hugger orange 69 Chevelle SS with a 402 BBC and a 5-speed manual. Bad-a$$ car!
