crAzy95z28 05-05-2005, 01:45 PM well as of now ive been running a 100 shot wet, for about 3 weeks now and no problems!
would it hurt to jump it up to 150?
i have all safety stuff such as
digital window switch set at 3k-5.8k
bottle warmer
fpss
wot switch
and my mods listed below!!
would i be ok, or would i be looking for trouble?
96m6lt1 05-05-2005, 01:50 PM won't be a problem at all thats all i like to use anyway,150 wet or 125 dry although i do not really like the dry systems.a set of autolite 103s will be good also, most of all hold on;)...i just looked at your mods,on tire at HRP you should be running in the 12's on the motor so a 150 shot should get you deep in the 11's for sure or more!
crAzy95z28 05-05-2005, 01:58 PM im on TR6's
96m6lt1 05-05-2005, 02:01 PM that is a good plug as well,i just named the 103s cause thats what i use but not a problem either way, what kit do you have?(n2o)
crAzy95z28 05-05-2005, 02:09 PM compucar wet kit!

96m6lt1 05-05-2005, 02:17 PM compucar wet kit!
yeah, you will be fine with that set up,as long as you have the nozzle and not that plate that goes in between the t-body and intake..
crAzy95z28 05-05-2005, 02:24 PM yeah, you will be fine with that set up,as long as you have the nozzle and not that plate that goes in between the t-body and intake..
i have the TB plate :(
96m6lt1 05-05-2005, 02:57 PM hmm,i really don't like the plate it was a great idea until you see how it flows into the intake it does not feed cyl.#1 and #2 as well as the rest i would change the plate to a NX nozzle and use their pills, roughly 65.00,just my observation when i used to work for the late JOHN STEWART @magnum plus nitrous off of beltway8 and lee rd,you will not do any damage to your motor with the set up you have now but more power with the parts you have now with the addition of the shark or pirannah nozzle will get you more hp to the rear....
Bow94z 05-05-2005, 03:17 PM how many miles do you guys have on your bottom end with the 100 or 150 shot?

Bow94z 05-06-2005, 12:38 AM damn 96m6lt1! now thats crazy! did you run into anyproblems with those high mileage motors while sprayin? whats less harmful to the motor, wet or dry shot?
crAzy95z28 05-06-2005, 01:04 AM im around 112k miles...had my cam and everything else since 98k
96m6lt1 05-06-2005, 02:06 AM to be honest i feel the tune up is most important, not even a burned plug has occured my 96 spun a bearing w/o the bottle everything else looks good,as far as the type of unit, the dry system at 1200psi hits harder than the wet at the same pressure that makes me believe the wet sysem is safer in ways.
bt96ss 05-09-2005, 11:48 AM Mine has 125,XXX and I regularly spray 150. Just waiting till it blows to upgrade.
