Airbag light is on... why? and how do i fix it?jamieSS 05-03-2005, 09:31 PM i just had my 350 Lt1 rebuilt. The airbag light is on now. Someone told me having the steering wheel turned while the motor is out may cause the airbag light to come on. Is this the reason? If not than what is a good guess on what may be the problem, and how do i fix it? madwolf 05-06-2005, 11:06 AM Yes, someone turned the steering wheel while the steering shaft was out. This damaged your SIR coil in the steering wheel.
