how do you disable the anti-lock brakes, (temporarily)? I heard somewhere that you could pull a fuse to disable it?

HBHRacing 05-02-2005, 11:49 PM Short answer... ABS fuse. Once the ABD inop light comes on you know you have it. GoFast908Z 05-03-2005, 12:54 PM which one is that? engine compartment? dash? GoFast908Z 05-04-2005, 08:41 PM ttt..... SVThuh 05-05-2005, 06:12 PM Pull the module in the engine bay fuse box.. It will be labeled with something like ABS IV or something like that.. I was having issues with my ABS acting up and actually taking clamping force off my brakes while normally braking, so I pulled the module and never looked back.. I grew up driving hard in third gens, so ABS isnt a big issue in my book.. But that module is the easiest way to do it.. Its next to all the other relays in the under-hood fuse box. GoFast908Z 05-05-2005, 10:32 PM Thanks, I'll give that a try. | ||
