I'm not sure such a thing even exists, but I've heard changing it can help eliminate odors in your car. Does such a thing exist, and how do you change it?

Many upper level cars (Benz, Lexus) come with A/C filters. They are ususally under the inlet just in front of the windshield. I don't believe any Camaro has ever had an A/C filter. I have seen some aftermarket filters that can be added to most cars.

Hmmm..... my 2001 Silverado pickup has a cabin air filter. But I KNOW my 1994 Formula doesn't.

Actually almost all cars have them. The problem in changing it you ask? Its molded into the A/C system causing you to cut the hell outa your firewall to even catch a glimpse of it. I priced one on my blazer and it was some where in the neighborhood of 2-3k due to all the cutting. I decided that the odd smell when the a/c cranked on after a looong winter wasnt all that bad!

there isn't really any form of filter. There is how ever a spray that you spray into the air duct while the blower motor is running. This kills the mold that forms from condensation and will help with the odor. You can find it almost everywhere.

Also make sure the drains, both the A/C and air inlet have drains, are open.

I know that my dad's Accord has some filter for just the regular fan. Supposed to remove pollens and such...

Nice feature, I guess.
