They are DMS springs and are lowered about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2. JaysGone 04-29-2005, 10:17 PM  I cut my stock springs  and have for years with no ill effects. 27 inches all around :D musclecar 04-29-2005, 10:32 PM I put Intrax springs in mine and it seems to be on the bump stops in the front...lol I rides ROUGH!! Looks cool tho!! carlos64030 04-30-2005, 12:51 PM There should be some pictures of the ride height of my car in my sig. Bayer-Z28 04-30-2005, 09:24 PM I put Intrax springs in mine and it seems to be on the bump stops in the front...lol I rides ROUGH!! Looks cool tho!! I heard Intrax were awesome springs.. How low did you go? I'm looking at a 1" drop w/ the 17" SS wheels, same ride height from a stock 16" Z28 wheel.. I've also heard that the BMR springs suck......?? musclecar 05-01-2005, 11:23 PM It really didn't measure that much with a tape, but then again I don't know how much travel these cars have. I was told the springs were 2-2.5 but installed are more like 3. I have 18's on my car and wanted to close up the gap in the wheel well so I figured I would try them out!! will62085 05-02-2005, 10:49 PM I heard Intrax were awesome springs.. How low did you go? I'm looking at a 1" drop w/ the 17" SS wheels, same ride height from a stock 16" Z28 wheel.. I've also heard that the BMR springs suck......?? with bigger wheels, you buy a thinner sidewall tire...and end up at the same ride height...my freind had the bmr springs, and i really liked the way those rode, i think it was a 1.5 inch drop Compstall 05-03-2005, 01:10 AM FYI, my 17" TT2's w/ 275/40/17 tires actually sit ~1" shorter in diameter than my factory wheels w/ 255/50/16's on them. DrivinSidewayz 05-03-2005, 04:09 AM your factory tires were supposed to be 245/50/16, not 255 when you calculate tire diameter between 275/40/17 and 245/50/16, it comes out to less than 1/10th of an inch. (in a perfect world) Compstall 05-03-2005, 06:05 AM I know what size they came with, I was just pointing that out. FastrDamnit! 05-03-2005, 01:01 PM riding on Sprint Springs 1.75" lower in front 1.5" lower in rear on SS (ZR1 wheel/tires). Looks great but very rough on bumps. nfa 05-03-2005, 02:29 PM 1 coil cut from the front stock springs, 3/4 coil cut from the rear with isolator removed and heat hose on the top coil. 26" front height, 27.25 rear. with st35mm swaybar, bilsteins, gw upper controls arms. it handles pretty good and the ride is far superior that stock. -1.7 camber, 4.5 caster, 0 toe in. | ||
