Ideal Piston reccomendations?

Interested in an 8-1 forged setup to handle big boost. What Piston do you guys reccomend and why?

I am using the Diamond forged -22cc blower piston for my buildup. It is used out of the same aluminum as the top of the line JE blower pistons but at a more reasonable price. My pistons are rated at 20 pounds of boost but I have seen cars that are successfully running more with the same piston. I had another thread showing the differences in the metals of the JE and SRP pistons and the Diamonds. I'll see if I can find it for you. Diamond also makes some custom blower pistons if you are wanting to go more than 20 pounds of boost. JE, Diamond and CP are all really good pistons. It just depends on how much you are willing to spend.

Here is the link that I was talking about. Also, if you are wanting to run high boost, most builders will tell you to stay with a .10 or .20 over piston to keep the cylinder walls as thick as possible but you can go .30 and be OK.

I've got a set of JE 31cc dished pistons for my 383. Everyone else was using them so I figured they would probably work pretty well. Darn peer pressure. :D
