rear control arms

I want to do tons us suspension work this summer....how much will rear tubular control arms help me with a torque arm and adjustable panhard bar...oh yea control arms would be adjustable to...any recomendations?

They will help.
Are you getting adjustable just to have? or are you getting them for when you stuff some nice big slicks in there?

I'd also get the relocation brackets while your at it.

Tubular LCAs help to maintain proper pinion angle (which helps traction) by eliminating flexing of the arms under extreme launches. In most cases you don't need adjustable arms. Poly bushings on both ends is also not optimum as it will promote binding of the suspension when turning. Sperical joints produce the least amount of bind but can translate a lot of noise; I went with one end poly, one end sperical.

How much of a noise difference were your spherical poly arms compared to stock or whatever it was you had before?

I am gettin adjustable because my rear end is already well acualy the components around have twisted..meaning one wheel is farther forward than the other. and this is because i have bfgoodrich K/D's they are 315's and they do bit hard.. 30,000 mile with those on things are a little out of wack..afterall gm engineers did don't design that car for 11" rims..so thats why i'm getting adjustable...cuz i've herd of many people having one side longer than the other to straighten things out...and the adjustable will always make things easier to get to spec when i lower my car

My combo sperical/poly LCAs are quiet; I went with Global West LCAs. They're a bit more pricey but I like the design.

??? whats bent?
Sounds like your bushings in the LCA are gone or something, not much to bend unless you are ovaling the mounting holes, but the rear end would explode befor that.

when you lower you need the LCA relocation brackets, and an adjustable panhard.
the adjustable lca are for if you are running a taller tire.

What I am trying to say is I cant see how you could have bent anything unless you hit something.

Two of my friends are running 315's on the rear. You don't need adjustable LCAs for this mod as the front to back spacing is not affected. It's the side to side spacing that can cause the tires to rub on the fender lips. An adjustable panhard rod will let you center the rear from left to right.

well i shouldn't acually say front because that will give you the wrond idea..but not directly next to the tire if you inderstand what i'm trying to say if that sounds right at all
