I own a 97 Z M6 and when I am driving and apply the brakes, RIGHT before the car is completely stoped my "low trac" light comes on and the breaks surge slightly. I think it is a weak wheel speed sensor but I wandted to get someother opinions.

You'll probably find this from a search of the message board. However, I solved this issue on my Z28 by reseating the connectors on the back of the front wheel hubs. Just remove the wheel for easier access and pull off/push on the connector two or three times to make sure that they are perfectly seated and clean.

I also had the same issue, the ABS sensor in the differential was cleaned (non traction control car).

i have the exact same problem, every now and then when i hit the brakes right before i stop it feels like i loose brake pressure and have to hit the brakes harder, then the low trac light comes on.

Which cars had Traction Control....and how can u tell? I have assumed that ALL cars...no matter what make or model...with traction control has to have a button or switch to turn it off. True?

95 was the first year ASR came out. However, it only came out on cars made later in the year (mine dosn't have it). You'll know because there will be a switch.

How are these cleaned? Do you just mean the plug in connection, or are you actually removing the sensor from the axle?
