i've offered a free brake pad change to a female friend at work (she would just take it to a shop otherwise, and i don't like her wasting her money)...

anywho, i've done 4-5 brake pad changes on camaro's, are they the same deal, just the 2 slider bolts on the back...

this is for the front pads only, she has rear drums... which i'm not going to do, as i've never done drums before (will do mine this summer)

this is for a 1996 4 door, 4x4 blazer

thanks for any help (most likely pandamonkey :D)

I've never done them on my Blazer, but I replaced a worn hub bearing assembly this weekend and saw that they need it though.

I am going to do it in the next two week, when I get time.

I've done a few brake jobs and don't expect this to be any different.
If this is the first time she's had it done, she must be nearly out, mine has only about 5% left on the front.

Mine has disks in the rear, which came standard after 98 on.

You won't find any unknown surprises, I'm sure you'll do fine and turn out to be a hero.:)
