I just bought a 1le front swaybar, does anyone know if it uses and different sized endlinks than stock? I am gonna buy some poly ones, do you think that the stock sized suspension techniques at autozone(poly) would be sufficient? I already have poly bushings.

on most sites, like thunderracing.com, there is different sizes endlink bushings. Stock front bar is 30mm,1LE bar is 32mm and they sell different bushings for them. I would imagine they are a little different, but im not positive because i dont have a 32mm bar

The factory endlinks are white plastic with a black steel center tube and a self locking nut. Superior to aftermarket and they fit. Endlink is standard for 32mm front bar and the same one is used on the stock 19mm rear bar.

You would be better off with the rubber mounts also. Inspite of what everyone thinks Poly is Crap!!! I know, and I have my flame suit on. Poly creeps underload and will egg shape, it will squeak. Poly exists becuase the molds are cheap to make. Rubber is much harder to work with, so aftermarket can't afford to work with it. So they hype poly up, even though it is crap!!

This is likey to be a case of telling some one not to touch a hot stove, you will believe me only after you get burnt.

If you want parts that work and bolt up see below.

1LE Front 32 mm Stabilizer Bar Insulator (GM p/n 10288551) $7.66 2-reg for the front.

1LE Stabilizer Bar Endlinks (GM p/n 10221779) $7.05 2-req for the front

I got the energy suspension set that was listed as stock front one, It was like 15$ just for the endlinks <ouch>, will that work for my 1le swaybar? So, should i return them and just get stock?

Will endlinks really squeek? I thought it would be better since it is stiffer to go along with the stiffer swaybar thus allowing better handleing. Also, is there anything around the house i should use to lube these things, such as white lithium grease or regular grease?
